Music
I have a profound passion for music and am an active member of the community. Using my free time to volunteer in the industry at Radio Western, a local radio station and Investing in youth as a guitar teacher. Music has always been a prominent part of my life, growing up playing the piano then transferred to guitar during covid. School musicals, band, theatre camp, choir, piano lessons, and more my childhood has been engrossed by a deep passion for music. In my older ages this passion proceeds, continuing my journey in music education, writing songs, attending live music events and playing around in the intricate world of production.
VR and Music Education
For my GBDA 301 class we explore new and emerging technologies and we were tasked to create a VR experience to aid with students mental health. I choose to highlight music education as a form of stress reliving as that is what i do to elevate stresss, my profound passion love for music can be seen in whatever i do,.
Audio/Music
Working with audio and music is a passion of mine. I play the guitar and piano and regularly exercise my composition and writing skills.
Sound Scape
For this assignment, we were tasked to create a soundscape. I chose one of my favourite places in Waterloo, "the Jazz Room." Through this, I was given an audio record and edited the audio through Premier Pro.
